KOREP
Objectives:
- to set up a contact office for apprentices and other young people in initial vocational training who want spend a period of their IVT abroad and who need help
- to encourage companies, especially SME, through consulting and multimedia information campaigns to support apprentices to absolve a training period during their IVT abroad (combine-training over the border)
- to experiment actions for the individual mobility (single person)
- to develop financial concept for potential projects (inclusive the co-financing)
- to certify each training through Europass and test ECVET
- to target a multimedia communication system for products and service
Approach:
- to set up a network between companies, educational establishments and other organizations in each country and abroad, which are interested in supporting a training period abroad as receipt or as sending company
- to support the combine-training over the border for SME: that will be possible because mobility is already provided by the vocational law. Administrative and financial hurdles will be worked out so that SME will be advantaged
- to increase the understanding to learn a foreign language in initial vocational training so that the main problem to stay abroad will be removed
- to acknowledge and certify the training through the Europass and the test of ECVET
Expected results:
- to mobilize and make aware SME as well as young people for a possible mobility-project in IVET
- to create a network not only for apprentices, but also for employed in that vocational training sector (e. g. for teachers, instructors, consulting personal)
- to develop projects not only on request but also to offer them directly to companies and young people
- to offer a reliable training period abroad for special jobs
